Novoceram, French ceramic manufacturer since 1863, presents a through-body coloured porcelain stoneware collection for indoor and outdoor spaces, inspired by the coral stone of Martinique.
Alizés is a porcelain stoneware collection by Novoceram inspired by a fossil-bearing limestone originating from Martinique. Formed over time through the accumulation of sediments and marine organisms, its surface is characterised by an irregular texture in which cavities, inclusions, shells and corals naturally appear.
Novoceram translates these different elements into through-body coloured porcelain stoneware, preserving the diversity of patterns and details that characterise the stone. The distribution of inclusions and cavities creates a surface whose pattern varies from one tile to another.
Alizés is available in two colours. Naturel reproduces the stone’s most raw appearance, with open cavities and particularly visible fossil details. Doux offers a more uniform interpretation: tone-on-tone grouting softens the contrasts and fills the surface porosity, while retaining the characteristic patterns of the stone. Two different finishes inspired by the same mineral material.
The collection is available in a 9 mm thickness, in 60×120, 80×80, 60×60, 30×60 and 10×60 cm formats, as well as a 5×5 cm mosaic. It is also available in the Modulo+ range, dedicated to modular compositions and offering different layout options: Opus, Roman Bands, Cabochons and Borders.
For outdoor applications, the Outdoor+ range complements the collection with 20 mm-thick formats, including 80×80 and 60×60 cm, as well as modular compositions. Depending on the format, Alizés is available in an R10 A+B finish or in a structured, slip-resistant R11 A+B+C finish.

- ISO EN 14001 : norm that sets out the requirements related to the environmental management system, based on environmental commitment, on strict standards and increasingly ambitious goals that the company has implemented to control and reduce its impact on the environment and to improve its performance continuously.
- ISO EN 50001 : norm that sets out the requirements related to energy management systems. This certification, driven by the wish to better control and optimise energy consumption, is the logical continuation of a continual improvement approach and an environmental commitment.
PRODUCT CERTIFICATIONS
- Indoor emissions: index which measures emissions of volatile substances posing a risk of inhalation toxicity. All our tiles are assigned A +, – the best note in this classification. Furthermore, as they do not contain Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), they even outperform all the requirements of the A+ classification.
- Novoceram products are involved in obtaining various ecological certifications for the construction industry such as the American certification, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). Novoceram has also commissioned the PEF (Environmental Performance Footprint) and EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) of its products, which indicate the potential environmental impact of a product throughout its entire life cycle.
