Novoceram, French ceramic manufacturer since 1863, presents a through-body coloured porcelain stoneware collection for indoor and outdoor spaces, inspired by the essence of oak.
Botanique is a wood-effect collection by Novoceram, inspired by the essence of oak. It offers two distinct interpretations of this material, Concept and Héritage, each highlighting a different reading of wood.
The Concept version offers a contemporary and balanced interpretation of oak. Tone-on-tone knots blend into the design of each plank, while a delicate stripping process highlights the natural movement of the grain. The surface retains the characteristic features of wood while offering a more homogeneous appearance. The Héritage version adopts a rawer, more weathered look. Its acid treatment accentuates the surface structure of the wood and makes its natural pattern more visible. The cracks featured in the design enhance the character of each plank and add greater depth to the surface.
Botanique is available in six colours, divided between these two interpretations. Concept Lin reproduces the natural colour of oak, while Miel offers a warm and luminous brown. Craie interprets wood in a lighter, almost white shade, enhanced by subtle pink undertones. Within Héritage, Avoine reproduces the natural colour of wood in a luminous light brown shade. Tabac recalls the warm, honeyed tones of stained oak, while Cachemire offers a bleached version softened by subtle pink undertones.
The collection is made of through-body coloured porcelain stoneware, with a 9.5 mm thickness. It is available in the rectified 20×120 cm format, with two levels of slip resistance: R10 A+B and R11 A+B+C.

- ISO EN 9001: norm that sets out the requirements related to the company’s quality management system that is part of a continual improvement at all levels which include: customer relations, willingness to communicate, internal organisation, relations with suppliers and production processes.
- ISO EN 14001 : norm that sets out the requirements related to the environmental management system, based on environmental commitment, on strict standards and increasingly ambitious goals that the company has implemented to control and reduce its impact on the environment and to improve its performance continuously.
- ISO EN 50001 : norm that sets out the requirements related to energy management systems. This certification, driven by the wish to better control and optimise energy consumption, is the logical continuation of a continual improvement approach and an environmental commitment.
PRODUCT CERTIFICATIONS
- Indoor emissions: index which measures emissions of volatile substances posing a risk of inhalation toxicity. All our tiles are assigned A +, – the best note in this classification. Furthermore, as they do not contain Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), they even outperform all the requirements of the A+ classification.
- Novoceram products are involved in obtaining various ecological certifications for the construction industry such as the American certification, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). Novoceram has also commissioned the PEF (Environmental Performance Footprint) and EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) of its products, which indicate the potential environmental impact of a product throughout its entire life cycle.
