Hispalis Collection

Novoceram, French ceramic manufacturer since 1863, presents a through-body coloured porcelain stoneware collection for indoor and outdoor spaces, inspired by Campaspero limestone.

Hispalis is a porcelain stoneware collection by Novoceram, inspired by Campaspero limestone, a stone quarried from the Castilian plateau in Spain and used for centuries in historic architecture. This inspiration is expressed through a neutral background crossed by fine veins, combined with a homogeneous texture and particularly refined grain.

Novoceram translates these characteristics into through-body coloured porcelain stoneware, preserving the understated appearance and subtle variations of this limestone. The surface features a discreet pattern made up of mineral variations that add depth without altering the overall homogeneous appearance.

Hispalis is available in four colours. Ivoire reproduces the light and delicate shade of the original stone. Taupe offers a more intense interpretation, with a deeper tone. Sable brings a warmer shade, while Cendre introduces a warm grey with subtle variations. This palette offers a choice of shades to suit each room and the desired atmosphere.

The collection is available in a 9 mm thickness, in 60×120, 80×80, 60×60 and 30×60 cm formats, as well as 10×60 cm and a 5×5 cm mosaic. Depending on the format, Hispalis is available in an R10 A+B or R11 A+B+C finish.

For outdoor applications, the Outdoor+ range complements the collection with a 60×60 cm format in 20 mm thickness, featuring a slip-resistant R11 A+B+C finish. This version allows for visual continuity between different spaces.

• ISO EN 9001: norm that sets out the requirements related to the company’s quality management system that is part of a continual improvement at all levels which include: customer relations, willingness to communicate, internal organisation, relations with suppliers and production processes.
• ISO EN 14001 : norm that sets out the requirements related to the environmental management system, based on environmental commitment, on strict standards and increasingly ambitious goals that the company has implemented to control and reduce its impact on the environment and to improve its performance continuously.
• ISO EN 50001 : norm that sets out the requirements related to energy management systems. This certification, driven by the wish to better control and optimise energy consumption, is the logical continuation of a continual improvement approach and an environmental commitment.

PRODUCT CERTIFICATIONS

• Indoor emissions: index which measures emissions of volatile substances posing a risk of inhalation toxicity. All our tiles are assigned A +, – the best note in this classification. Furthermore, as they do not contain Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), they even outperform all the requirements of the A+ classification.
• Novoceram products are involved in obtaining various ecological certifications for the construction industry such as the American certification, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). Novoceram has also commissioned the PEF (Environmental Performance Footprint) and EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) of its products, which indicate the potential environmental impact of a product throughout its entire life cycle.
