As every year, at Cersaie, International Exhibition of Ceramic tile and Bathroom Furnishings, Novoceram enriches its catalog of new proposals. In 2013 was presented the Formes collection, which extends the range of porcelain tiles inspired by natural stones.
Formes comes from a deep research that led to the selection of five natural stones originally very different from each other. These were then processed, modified in appearance and color, mixed and overlapped each other, in a meticulous development, reaching a balance that – while preserving the wealth and the contrasts of the original materials – gives shape to a new material, which did not exist, and it nevertheless seems surprisingly authentic.
Colours
Formes is available in three hot colors all coordinated and matching each other:
Ivoire: an extraordinarily bright lightcolour, a shade of white limestone.
Sable: a beige ivory which gives a feeling of intimacy and warmth.
Taupe: a grey-beige of medium intensity.
Finitions
Formes is available both in smooth version, for indoors, both in structured version for external paving. In turn, the smooth version is available in both natural matte finish that honed. The availability of the same colors in the three versions, allows to create an excellent visual continuity even in the case of rooms in which the outdoor floor is coplanar to the indoor floor.
Sizes
Formes is available in sizes 60x60cm, 30x60cm, 45x45cm and 10x60cm.
Decorations
The range is completed by a mosaic that blends together the three finishes (natural, honed and structured) and “Compas”, a discreet and elegant decoration where circles of metallic and pearls reflections material, are woven neatly together in a measured contrast to the strict and rigid lines of the stone.
